The Dean of the Faculty of Engineering – University of Maysan, Professor Abbas Oda Dawood, extended his sincere congratulations to the Deanship of the Technical Institute of Architecture, its lecturing and administrative staff, and its students on the occasion of entering a new stage in their academic journey following the approval to establish the College of Polytechnic – Architecture for the academic year 2026–2027.
He noted that this decision reflects the growing attention given to technical education and contributes to providing the governorate with a specialized educational institution capable of preparing graduates equipped with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills, in accordance with the requirements of the engineering and administrative sectors and the labor market.
The newly established college offers academic programs in Civil Engineering Technologies, Mechanical Engineering Technologies, Computer Networks and Software Technologies, Artificial Intelligence, and Accounting Technologies, representing a significant expansion of applied educational opportunities available to the people of the governorate.
On this occasion, Professor Abbas Oda Dawood expressed his hope that the College of Polytechnic – Architecture would become an effective scientific and educational center, wishing its staff and students continued success and further achievements that contribute to supporting development and serving the Maysan community.
