Under the patronage of the President of Maysan University, Professor Adel Manea Dakhil, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Engineering, Professor Abbas Odeh Daoud, the College of Engineering – Continuing Education Division organized a workshop entitled:
“Legal Emergency Aid – Protection of Rights and Proper Behavior When Exposed to Critical Situations”.
The workshop was presented by Assistant Lecturer Muayyad Karim Hassan, who discussed the concept of legal aid and its importance in protecting rights, in addition to reviewing the most prominent procedures that must be followed in situations such as arrest and investigation, traffic accidents, quarrels, and assaults, with reference to relevant Iraqi legal texts.
This workshop aimed to spread legal awareness among professors and employees of the college, enabling them to act correctly in critical situations in a way that preserves their rights and spares them legal responsibility.
