Lecturing Competence Testing Committee for Engineering Sciences holds its first meeting at the Faculty of Engineering

One of the seven UNESCO-rated committees held its first meeting on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at the College of Engineering.
During the meeting, four applicants were evaluated after successfully completing an updated teaching modalities course, which included integrated teaching methods. The assessment of the applicants was based on a set of 25 criteria, with each applicant delivering a 30-minute lecture to be evaluated according to these criteria.
The committee consists of seven members, each holding the title of professor or assistant professor in various engineering disciplines within the College. Additionally, an educational specialist in teaching methods is included to ensure the comprehensiveness and quality of the evaluation process.
