The Department of Electrical Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering –, University of Maysan, organized a scientific seminar for second-year students within the framework of the Bologna educational system entitled “Artificial intelligence and its practical applications: advanced challenges and solutions using the Python language“.
The seminar was supervised by Assistant Lecturer Ahmed Majed Abdel Abbas, where he addressed the most prominent challenges facing artificial intelligence applications, such as data quality, machine learning, and digital security, while providing advanced solutions through modern software tools in the Python language, including: TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, Pandas, OpenCV.
The seminar was distinguished by its focus on practical applications of artificial intelligence in multiple fields, most notably the medical sector, engineering, and other technical fields. It also included presentations, a review of the results of practical projects, and open, interactive discussions between students and faculty members.
This scientific activity is a unique opportunity to enhance students’ technical skills and build a deep understanding of modern technologies, which contributes to preparing them for the changing requirements of the labor market and enabling them to contribute effectively to the process of digital transformation and rapid technological development.
