About Department

The department was established in the academic year 2012/2013 with the establishment of the college. The electrical engineering department is considered one of the important departments and an essential element in the process of community development because it provides services and qualification for engineers who undertake work in various fields of electricity in state institutions and the private sector. The staff and requirements to expand the study and open postgraduate studies in the disciplines of power, machinery, electronics, communications, control and computers to be in line with the development in the various fields of life and the Iraqi society’s need for these disciplines.

The Department of Electrical Engineering is looking forward to preparing engineers who are specialized in various fields of electrical engineering
