Master’s thesis at the University of Misan/ College of Science examines the study of the effect of alkaloid compounds

A master’s thesis submitted by student Hawra Saleh Mahdi at the College of Science – Department of Biology examined and studied the effect of compounds extracted from a medicinal plant. The study searched the effect of alcoholic and aqueous extracts on the growth of Gram-negative and Gram-positive bacteria. The results showed the effectiveness of plant extracts towards the growth of gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria The results also showed the effectiveness of alkaloid compounds against the growth of gram-negative and gram-positive bacteria. On this occasion, the Dean of the College, Dr. Sabeh Jassim Kateaa met the members of the Discussion Committee in his office to appreciate their efforts with a letter of thanks and appreciation. The discussion committee consisted of:
