A lecturer from the Faculty of Engineering serves as a member in the Hydrological Study Committee for Surface and Underground Water Resources in the Teeb district

Professor Dr. Raed Sa’ee, a lecturer from the Faculty of Engineering at Maysan University, was selected as a member of the Hydrological Study Committee for Surface and Underground Water Resources in the Teeb district, Maysan, established by order of the Ministry of Water Resources.

The Committee met on Tuesday, 1 October 2024, under the chairmanship of Dr. Meathem Ali Khudair, Director-General of the General Groundwater Authority.

During the meeting, presentations and illustrative films on water resources in the Teeb district were given. The Committee discussed various topics related to its work, exchanged views, and presented ideas and insights on surface and groundwater resources in the Teeb district and adjacent areas. The Committee included managers responsible for water resources, irrigation maintenance, basil and marshland rehabilitation projects, a representative from the Centre for Engineering Studies and Design in Maysan Governorate, and the director of the Al-Amara Embankment project.
