The Head of the Faculty of Engineering, along with a delegation from Maysan Province, visited the Chinese company CSCEC, that is operating in the Bazarkan oil fields.

A delegation from Maysan Governorate, which included the Head of the Faculty of Engineering, Professor Dr. Abbas Oda Dawood, the Adviser to the Governor of Maysan, Professor Mr. Hasaneen Jabbar Jani, and members of the Governorate’s Opinion and Advisory Committee, visited the headquarters of the Chinese company CSCEC, which is operating in the Bazarkan oil fields.

The delegation reviewed the projects established by the company in Maysan Governorate. They then attended a presentation about the company’s ongoing projects, areas of expertise, and the quality of services it could offer to the governorate.

The delegation expressed interest in utilizing the expertise of the Chinese company for important projects in the governorate, such as bridges, university campuses, hospitals, and infrastructure. It was agreed that a meeting would be held with the relevant authorities in the governorate to discuss suitable procedures for contracting with the company for these projects, as well as for leveraging the company’s expertise to train engineers from the governorate.
