On the occasion of National Afforestation Day, 12 March, the Afforestation Unit, in collaboration with the Student Activities Unit, organized an awareness campaign to promote the importance of green spaces within the College. The campaign included the distribution of awareness posters throughout the college halls, with active participation from students across various departments and stages.
The goal of the event was to raise environmental awareness among students and encourage them to preserve parks and green spaces, contributing to the aesthetic beauty of the campus.
The Dean of the faculty, Professor Dr. Abbas Oda Dawood, expressed his full support for the campaign and emphasized the continuation of such initiatives. He also highlighted other activities organized for the occasion, such as afforestation campaigns and photo exhibitions, aimed at promoting sustainability and environmental consciousness among students.
