Dean of the College of Engineering Inspects Engineering Workshops Complex Project at the University of Maysan

Under the direct supervision of the President of the University of Maysan, Professor Adel Man’e Al-Kaabi, and with the strong support of the Governor of Maysan, Professor Habib Zahir Al-Fartusi—whose contribution has played a significant role in accelerating the progress of this vital project—and with continuous follow-up from the Dean of the College of Engineering, Professor Abbas Oda Dawood, the engineering and technical staff of the Resident Engineer Department, led by Chief Engineer Ghassan Faleh Hassan, continue their dedicated efforts to complete the Engineering Workshops Complex at the College of Engineering, achieving notable progress.

In this context, Professor Abbas Oda Dawood conducted a field visit to the project site to assess the completion rate and review the technical specifications of the executed works. He was accompanied by the Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, Professor Dr. Saad Fahd Rassan; the Head of the Mechanical Engineering Department, Professor Mahmoud Shaker; Assistant Professor Jassim Hassan Alak, who is responsible for the workshops and laboratories in the Mechanical Engineering Department; Chief Engineer Ghassan Faleh Hassan, Director of the Resident Engineer Department; and Engineer Aya Jabbar.

During the visit, emphasis was placed on expediting the completion of all technical and administrative requirements due to the project’s significance in providing an integrated, modern educational environment for students. The tour included an inspection of various project facilities, along with discussions of infrastructure-related technical aspects to ensure full compliance with the highest engineering standards.
