Within the framework of scientific cooperation between the institutions of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and in order to enhance the practical aspect of students, the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the College of Engineering –, University of Maysan, organized a field visit to the engineering workshops at the Technical Institute/Architecture, for first-year students. The students were accompanied on this visit by:

The visiting delegation was received by the official and employees of the laboratory unit at the institute, where Engineer Hassan Yassin Sidkhan, the unit’s official, provided a detailed explanation of the nature of the work of engineering workshops, and the mechanisms for operating the machines and equipment used in them, praising the importance of such visits in linking the theoretical aspect with the practical aspect, in a way that contributes In raising the efficiency of students and qualifying them for the labor market.
For their part, the students expressed their great benefit from this visit, stressing that direct access to the equipment and workshops enhances their understanding of the engineering applications they receive during their academic studies.
