Dean of the Faculty of Engineering Inspects the Progress of the Final Examinations for Upper Stages for the Academic Year 2025–2026

The final examinations for the second semester for upper-stage students in all scientific departments for the academic year 2025–2026 commenced this morning, Thursday, 5/7/2026, at the Faculty of Engineering – University of Maysan.

Coinciding with the first day of examinations, the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Professor Abbas Oda Dawood, conducted an inspection tour that included the examination halls to closely monitor the progress of the examination process and assess compliance with the instructions and regulations issued by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Presidency of the University of Maysan.

During the tour, the Dean reviewed the nature of the examination questions and their alignment with the prescribed curricula. He also spoke with students regarding the examination atmosphere and the level of organization, emphasizing the Faculty’s commitment to providing an appropriate academic environment and ensuring all logistical and technical requirements are available to support the successful conduct of examinations according to the highest scientific and organizational standards.

The Dean also praised the efforts of examination committees and invigilators for their role in organizing the halls and ensuring the smooth implementation of the examination process. He stressed the importance of adhering to principles of transparency and fairness in a manner that reflects the distinguished academic standards of the Faculty.

At the conclusion of the tour, the Dean extended his sincere wishes to all students for continued success and excellence in their academic journey.
