The President of the University of Maysan, Professor Adel Manea Dakhil, honored the heads of media divisions and the staff working in the Media and Government Communications Department at the University Presidency with certificates of appreciation, in recognition of their professional efforts and active role in highlighting the university’s activities, as well as the scientific, academic, and research achievements of its colleges and formations.
The recognition came on the occasion of the University of Maysan achieving advanced positions in the annual media evaluation of Iraqi public universities and being selected among the five winning universities. This achievement reflects the quality of institutional media work and the continuous cooperation between the Media and Government Communications Department at the University Presidency and the media divisions across the university’s colleges.
The recognition included Lecturer Mushtaq Abbas Al-Furaiji, Head of the Media and Government Communications Division at the Faculty of Engineering, in appreciation of his efforts in following up, documenting, and publishing the Faculty’s activities and events, as well as the achievements of its staff and students.
The Director of the Media and Government Communications Department at the University of Maysan Presidency, Laith Sabbar Jaber, praised the efforts made by the media divisions across the university’s formations, emphasizing that continuous interaction and coordination have contributed to improving the quality of media content and presenting the university’s achievements in an appropriate manner.
The Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Professor Abbas Oda Dawood, also congratulated Mushtaq Abbas Al-Furaiji on the recognition, commending his efforts in managing the Faculty’s media activities. He also praised the efforts of the Media and Government Communications Division staff, including Saba Jassim Rahim, Head of the Public Relations Unit, and Mohammed Muzhar Jaloob, Faculty of Engineering Photographer.
The Dean congratulated them on their efforts and affirmed the continued support of the Faculty’s Deanship for the Media and Government Communications Division, in a manner that strengthens the Faculty’s academic and institutional presence.
