On the 30th of September, the Iraqi people commemorate Iraqi Sovereignty Day, recalling with pride and honor the great sacrifices and enduring national positions that have contributed to safeguarding Iraq’s land, sovereignty, and dignity.
This cherished national occasion embodies the values of belonging and responsibility and calls upon us to continue working with dedication toward a strong and prosperous Iraq, where sovereignty is protected and institutions are built upon knowledge, science, and sincere determination.
As we commemorate this day, the Faculty of Engineering – University of Maysan reaffirms its commitment to its scientific and educational role in preparing a conscious and qualified generation capable of contributing to nation-building and serving society, inspired by the spirit of unity, giving, and dedication embodied by this occasion.
May Allah protect Iraq and its beloved people, and grant it lasting security, stability, and sovereignty. May science and engineering remain Iraq’s steadfast bridge toward development and progress, and the means by which its people strengthen its independence and shape its bright future.
