The Faculty of Engineering – University of Maysan has achieved a distinguished accomplishment by securing first place among the university’s faculties in the evaluation of their official websites. This achievement reflects the efforts made to develop digital content and strengthen the Faculty’s online presence.
On this occasion, the President of the University of Maysan, Professor Adel Manea Dakhil, issued a letter of appreciation to Lecturer Al-Hussein Mohammed Jumaa, Head of the Faculty of Engineering’s Official Website Unit, in recognition of his efforts in managing and updating the Faculty’s website, which contributed to achieving this advanced position.
For his part, the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Professor Abbas Oda Dawood, praised the outstanding efforts of the staff working in the Official Website Unit, emphasizing that securing first place is the result of teamwork, continuous follow-up, and a commitment to providing academic and news content that reflects the standing of the Faculty of Engineering and the University of Maysan.
The Dean also expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the website unit team:
- Lecturer Al-Hussein Mohammed Jumaa – Head of the Official Website Unit at the Faculty of Engineering.
- Professor Saba Jassim Rahim – Responsible for publishing news in Arabic on the official website.
- Engineer Marwa Abbas Abd – Responsible for publishing news in English on the official website.
The Dean emphasized that this achievement serves as an incentive to continue developing the website, improve the quality of content published in both Arabic and English, and strengthen its role as an official platform reflecting the Faculty’s scientific, academic, and research activities. He wished the team continued success and further achievements in future evaluations.
