The Assistant Chancellor of the University for Scientific Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Kazim Hamad, along with the Director of the Department of Scientific Affairs for the University Presidency, Assistant Lecturer Dr. Sadiq Da’eir, visited the Head of the Faculty of Engineering.
They were hosted by the Head of the Engineering Faculty, Professor Dr. Abbas Oda Dawood, and Professor Dr. Ahmad Kazim Al-Shara’, Editorial Director of Maysan Journal for Engineering Sciences magazine. The purpose of the visit was to monitor the progress of the Faculty’s magazine in meeting the requirements for inclusion in global databases such as Scopus. This includes obtaining ISSN, DOI, and DOAJ registration, actively working towards listing the journal on Cope platform, and increasing citation rates.
