As part of inter-academic cooperation in Maysan Governorate, third-year students from the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Maysan’s Faculty of Engineering recently conducted a field visit to the workshops and laboratories of the Technical Institute of Architecture.
The visit aimed to provide students with hands-on experience in a professional setting, helping them link theoretical concepts to real-world applications. The students were accompanied by the head of the department, Assistant Professor Dr. Mahmoud Shakir, along with Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Hamid and Assistant Lecturer Mr. Murtadha Sa’eed.
Upon their arrival, officials and staff from the Plant Unit welcomed the students and provided a detailed explanation of the machinery and equipment used in a variety of practical experiments. The students gained insights into the operation and functionality of various types of mechanical equipment, allowing them to better understand the applications of engineering principles in real-world settings.
